School Bio

The Children’s Center is a comprehensive educational program designed to meet the needs of students with developmental delays and disabilities from infancy through 21 years of age. The program operates through funding provided by the New York State Department of Education and the New York State Department of Health. At The Children’s Center, students are offered a full complement of educational and therapeutic services to promote development in the following domains: cognitive, physical, social-emotional, communication and adaptive/self-help. Parents and care-givers are active participants in their child’s educational planning and serve as resources to the school-based team. Options for family support and parent training are also available.
