School Bio

Small classes and intensive Orton Gillingham (research-based) multi-sensory instruction is the core of each student’s day. Our teachers and support staff have many years of experience working with children who have dyslexia and those with language-based learning disorders. We want all children to become lovers of learning and have a chance to show their individuality and uniqueness. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each individual learner, prepare them for their future, and set in place the educational foundations they will need to be productive in society. We individually design each student’s program following careful assessment of his or her strengths and weaknesses, specific language skills and needs, and learning styles, as guided by professional evaluations, and current research. Additionally, we provide related services (speech and language, occupational therapy, and counseling) as mandated on our students’ IEP.
