School Bio

Our facility encompasses 6 floors and 18 classrooms. The school has an art studio, library, three music studios, two sensory gyms, full gymnasium and a rooftop playground. Our 2:1 ratio classrooms use adapted standard curriculums that focus on thinking based activities rather than memorization skills. Some examples are; Lindamood-Bell, Balanced Literacy, Learning without Tears, Everyday Math and Ablenet EqualsMathematics . The goal is to help the students become creative, logical thinkers. Obstacle courses and sensory experiences are integrated into each day. Thinking Goes to School exercises are also a key component in every student’s day as a means to improve motor-planning, visual-spatial, and sequencing skills.
