School Bio

Welcome to Morning Star School in Jacksonville, Florida. Our school serves children in Kindergarten through 12th grade with learning challenges, attention deficit, autism and mild intellectual differences. Fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, we are the only special education school in the Diocese of St. Augustine. Our school is dedicated to helping children become productive, responsible, functioning members of society. With the cooperative efforts of parents, teachers, and our supportive community, students are afforded the opportunity to learn, to thrive and to succeed. At Morning Star, we work with each individual student, and partner with parents, therapists and medical providers to provide each child the opportunity to reach his or her highest potential. Our students are from diverse backgrounds and come to us from Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau, and Flagler Counties. We welcome them regardless of religious affiliation.
