Live Math and Science is a partnership between experienced educator Shawn Finnerty, M.A. and MIT trained scientist Dr. Kevin Anderson to create life-long learners...we just happen to focus on math and science. In our Upper Montclair office, we offer Small Group Tutoring and 1-on-1 Tutoring Sessions. In-person and virtual sessions are available. Math Levels: Rising 4th - 8th Graders Algebra I & II Geometry

HEALTH AND SAFETY: We are closely following guidance from state/local officials and health authorities as we take extreme care to maintain our safe, healthy learning environment. Procedures are subject to change as state regulations, federal guidance, and best practices continue to evolve in response to new developments in the pandemic. Our current health protocols include: (in-person sessions only) -Please remember your child must be kept home if they display any signs of illness. -Limited Access: To curb the spread of germs and control group size, we are often having parents and family members remain in common areas of the center only. -Protective Masks: Face coverings provided to all staff members and required for any adult entering the building; where required by law or licensing, children also wear masks. -Enhanced Health Practices: We’ve strengthened our existing cleanliness and hygiene practices (such as more frequent hand washing, and increased cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of surfaces and items in classrooms). -Attendance: Overall, the best way to ensure our students have limited exposure to germs is by keeping children at home when they are ill and/or contagious. We ask that you please watch your child closely and contact your physician if your child appears to be feeling under the weather.
