She is available to provide reading and writing instruction using the Orton-Gillingham Approach to students in grades K-8. Lessons are individualized, personalized, systematic, direct, explicit, and multi-sensory. Reading instruction available is inclusive of preparation for kindergarten, early literacy skills (phonological awareness, phonics, sight words), decoding and encoding instruction, morphology, reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Writing instruction is inclusive of sentence-level, paragraph-level, and essay-level writing tasks. Lisa is located in Norwalk, CT, but available for instruction virtually to allow access to students in all locations. At this time, all instruction is being provided virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward to moving towards in-person instruction in the future. Contact me for updated policies.
