All programs are taught online with a video meeting program. From the comfort of your own home, you can have an effective tutoring session with your tutor from anywhere in the world. Online tutoring is effective and fun! Online tutoring can be just as effective as in-person tutoring. In fact, many children find it very engaging because they are used to chatting with friends online. Parents like it because there is no additional time wasted in travel, and no packing up all the other kids to get to yet another activity! (It saves gas money, too!) I have had kids come to sessions when they have had colds, or had not been to school that day because of illness, but still came to the session because they could do it comfortably from home. I use online manipulatives and interactive games to make the experience multi-sensory and fun. All you need is a laptop or desktop computer, a headset, and a webcam. I sometimes also recommend a few manipulatives for students to have on hand and a notebook for keeping track of learning.
