BEWARE OF BAD APPLE THERAPISTS

MY ATTORNEY WILL HAVE ME TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST FOR MY CIVIL CASE TO PROVE THAT EVERYTHING IN THIS REVIEW ARE PURE FACTS. I WILL UPLOAD THE RESULTS FOR AN UPDATED REVIEW.

My daughter attended this program for 6 months. It’s a good program because she was progressing. However, some of their therapists are bad apples according to Teressa Taurusi, a supervisor who made a review. THE BAD APPLES MAKES IT A TERRIBLE COMPANY BECAUSE THEY REPRESENT THE COMPANY.

My 1st red flag therapist was Caroline who was aggressive, not child friendly, and was absent too many times. Eventually, they said that they fired her.

My 2nd red flag therapist was Adrianna. ABA is NOT her career, it’s just a paycheck. PARENTS BEWARE. SHE STILL WORKS THERE. She is either Spanish or Caucasian with red curly hair, and glasses; sometimes she doesn’t wear them. She didn’t know how to handle my daughter’s behaviors because since she was the new therapist on the team, my daughter was testing her a lot and she took it personal. She became aggressive, for example, if my daughter had something in her mouth, instead of gently taking it out, she would pull it out like she was fighting my daughter, and she would get scratches on her face or after she takes it out I would see my daughter rubbing her gums or teeth. I got upset and spoke with her supervisor, Teressa, and she was instructed to be more child friendly. Mostly, I would criticize how she does her sessions because she wasn’t following what the other 2 therapists, Agnes and Alison, were doing. Our children needs consistency, so all their therapists must be on the same page, and they wasn’t.

We started potty training, which led to seeing if my daughter can tolerate sitting on the toilet, and learning how to wash her hands. After one of her sessions, I noticed a red bruise on my daughter’s chest, and scratches on her face and arms. My daughter has high energy; she climbs, runs, jumps. I’m trying to figure out if she did it to herself or if it’s happening during a session. On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, I observed Adrianna in the bathroom with my daughter. She had her pinned against the bathroom sink and her chin was practically on the top of the sink with her hands bound like handcuffs. Adrianna talking about she was doing hand over hand to wash her hands. I have trust issues because she is nonverbal, and can’t tell me what’s happening, so I chose to give her therapeutic homeschool. This happened on my watch while I was in another room; I feel so bad.

Now parents, I’m an early childhood educator, and that’s NOT how we do hand over hand; disability or not. Since she got caught, she fell ill and left. I called and texted Teressa about the situation, and all they did was remove her from my daughter’s team for another child to experience what my daughter did. I was pissed off, so I sent her a text, and I told her that she is lucky that my daughter only has me because I would have fucked her up in that bathroom. If I would have done that, my precious girl would have went into the system, and that’s not a good thing. I think before I react. Nonetheless, she went to the co-owner, Sarah Camp, and she terminated Leilani because I brought a rule of verbal harassment and threats, but they didn’t fire Adrianna for child abuse. It’s considered child abuse in the eyes of the law, but I didn’t have any proof to what I saw in the bathroom to have her arrested.

Even though my daughter started with them, I always had a list of ABA programs for my daughter. She would be fine; she’s going to start her other program soon.
